about this thing

this is the introductory sentence. i dont like to talk about what i write too much because it just gets jumbled up but i'm going to try just this once:
the things i see are the remarkable events of everyday life that will never be remembered, the things that compose a large portion of our lives yet we never seem to to recall - cockeyed strangers, cracked sidewalks, garbage piles and words tossed across the street.
that's how it started for me, i just wanted to pocket some memories that dont mean anything, lovely moments when the facade of civilization is lowered or cracked or totally absent. i have a lot of theories about that but i cant get them out because i'm not very good at linear writing right now. maybe another day. there are other reasons i do this too. it keeps me aware of the world and prevents me from going into commuter drone. it also keeps me writing. sometimes its good, sometimes its not but its best to keep writing.
i started by posting the "seeings" as facebook status updates so they tend to be short. i might use this medium to expand them. i might never post here again. i will try to post every day. ive thought about taking pictures but i think that would ruin it. and besides that i dont want to get shot for taking a picture. maybe some day i will start drawing pictures.
